Blanche Elizabeth Scott

Passed away in her own home with her kids by her side in Keswick after a battle with cancer at the age of 89, just 5 days after her birthday. Loving mother of Brian Scott, Brenda Scott-Kerr (Chris). Predeceased by her husband Bill Scott and son Barry Scott. 

 To know my mom was to love my mom. She loved with all her heart and soul, if only love could’ve saved her. Mom always put others needs ahead of her own but she loved doing for others. The many hats and mitts, blankets and baby outfits that she knit for family and friends has been countless through the years and the never ending gift bags she loved to do for everyone. She loved to bake, she loved to shop, she loved to go for walks and always enjoyed a beautiful sunset. 

Cherished Auntie Betty to many nieces and nephews and friends who treated mom like their Aunt and surrogate mom and grandma to many as well. 

 Special thanks to her amazing homecare team, especially her nurse, Theresa and her Case Manager, Linda 

 Betty will be greatly missed by her family, especially her kids, and friends and all who loved and treasured her. 

 As per her wishes there will be no funeral service 

 Donations in Betty’s name can be made to Sick Kids Hospital or the Stronach Cancer Centre.
