Catherine Cameron Rice

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Cameron Rice, who passed away on June 20, 2026 at the age of 67. Born on April 17, 2026 in Scarborough, Catherine lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. She was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering support of those she loved. Catherine enjoyed helping rescue shelter animals and found great joy in spreading love and wisdom to everyone she encounters. She touched the lives of many through her compassion, sense of humor, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. 

She is lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters. Colin and wife Hang, Chantelle and Mike, Sarah and husband Steeve, granddaughters Aubree, Addison, Avery, as well as her brother Mike and Trudy, sisters Karen, Trish and Carol, their husbands Kevin and Dennis and many extended family members, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgina Animal Shelter in her memory. 

Though she is no longer with us, her love, wisdom, and beautiful memories will remain in our hearts forever.
