Donald Jackson

Retired longtime Fire Fighter/Captain for 32 years, with the Toronto Fire Dept. 

and District Chief of East Gwillimbury Fire Dept. for 11 years

Passed away peacefully at his home in Keswick, surrounded by the love of his family, on Monday, June 29, 2026 at the age of 88. Much loved husband of Judith Jackson of 58 years. Loving father of Steve Swift (Debbie) of Mount Albert, Paul Jackson (Tina) of Minden, and Elizabeth Jackson (Carey Lewis) of Newmarket. Precious grandfather of Savannah (Morgan), Carly (Jay), Kaitlin (DJ), Madison (Darien), Shawn (Jazmine), Mason and Ava. Treasured great-grandfather of Kemper, Tate, Sophia, Brynlee, Lyla, Emmerson, and Gianna. Predeceased by his siblings Marilyn Goodlad, Gwen West, Frank Jackson, and Susan McClure. He will be greatly missed by his family, many friends and neighbours.

Cremation has taken place, and a private Interment will take place at a later date.
