Our loving mother and grandmother, Vivian Milton, previously Boston, passed away at Bon Air Long Term Care Residence, Cannington, On Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the age of 99. Dearly loved mother of Robin Boston and predeceased by her son Don Boston. Cherished grandmother of Will, Bonita, Donald James “DJ”, Robin Jr., and Claire. Treasured great grandmother of Keynton, all of Ontario. Dear sister of Maxine (Grant Clark) of New Brunswick. She will be missed by her sister-in -law, Vivian Boston of Toronto as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Vivian was predeceased by her parents Roy & Edith, her brothers, Robert and Keith, her sister, Shirley, her first husband, Victor “Mick” Boston (1988) of Keswick, and her second husband Rev. Charles Milton (2016) of Winnipeg.

Our mother was born and raised in Nova Scotia. She was a school teacher in both Nova Scotia and Keswick. She moved to Toronto in 1954, met and married our dad in 1959. Dad passed away in 1988 after a lengthy illness. In 1997, mom married Rev. Charles Milton, a family friend, and moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba. Living there until he passed away in 2016. Mom then moved back to Keswick to be near family and friends. Mom was a proud member of the Georgina Salvation Army Church and volunteered in many community organizations, accumulating many friends along the way. Since returning to Keswick in 2017, she resided in Keswick Gardens, a senior’s residence.  

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Salvation Army Georgina Community Church, 1816 Metro Road, Jacksons Point on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 noon. A private family interment of cremated remains will take place at the Queensville Cemetery where Vivian will be laid to rest with her late husband Victor "Mick" Boston.

In memory of Vivian, donations made to the Salvation Army or to the Georgina Food Pantry would be appreciated by the family.
