Passed away peacefully at Southlake Health, Newmarket on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at the age of 78. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Lumley. Loving mother of Tim Hopper (Jen) of Keswick, and Judy Strang (Serge) of Welland. Treasured grandmother of Cory (Brittany), Shawn (Bruna), John (Jen), Andrew, and predeceased by Amanda. Cherished great grandmother of Aimslee, Braxtyn, Shane, Devin, Hannah, Emma, and Nolan. Special thanks to Debbie, Kathy, and the York Region Paramedics for all your efforts.
Following Ethels wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will not be held.
In memory of Ethel, donations made to the Georgina Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
