Frederick Donald James Martin

Passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer, on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Southlake Regional Health Centre at the age of 59 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Norma Martin (2021). Cherished father of Cheyenne Martin (Matthew Dolson) of Sutton, Ashley Martin (Charles Maranzana) of Bradford, and Donald Martin of New Brunswick. Treasured grandfather of Blaize, Olivia, Charlie-Rose, Emily and Elizabeth. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Edith Martin and by his second “mom” Beatrice Martin. Dear brother of Shirley, Franny, Bryan, Nina, Jr., Marlene, Edie, Herb, Robert, and predeceased by Bobby, Butch, Angie, Madonna, Emma and Roy. Fred will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his friends Norma, Ed and Kit as well as his extended family, neighbours and friends. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date (check back for details). The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to SLRHC and the Cancer Unit, as well as Dr. Mulhern for taking such good care of our dad.
