George Allen

Passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Newmarket Health Centre at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by parents George Patrick Allen (1998) and Mary Allen (2006). Predeceased by his beloved wife, Susan Patricia Allen (1999), and special friend, Susan Liesch (2020). Loving father of Deb Green, Donna (Larry Orth), and Mike (Maggie) Allen. Cherished grandfather of Bill & Ryan (Melissa) Green, Teagan & Hailey Orth, and Nate & Emma Allen. Treasured great-grandfather of Shayla, Jaxson, Henry and Olivia. He is survived by his brother, Charlie (Lorraine) Allen, and cousin, Lew (Robin) Maginniss, predeceased by siblings Jim Allen and Patricia Conroy. He will be forever missed by his family, friends and loved ones.

A special thank you to all the wonderful staff members at Newmarket Health Centre. Your kindness and compassion were very much appreciated, he thought of you as extended family as you gave him a home away from home.

Cremation has taken place per his wishes, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sutton Legion Branch 356, 21 East Street, Sutton West.

In memory of George, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of York Region would be appreciated by the family.
