John Alexander Montgomery

Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, at the age of 70 years. Cherished husband of Lori. Loving father of Jennifer (Ryan) and Jake. Adored grandfather of Emma and Daniel. Predeceased by his sister Helen Herrington. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces Sue (Bill), Janice (Rudy) and his nephew Bob (Wendy). The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the compassionate and dedicated palliative care team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Your kindness, respect and unwavering support provided immense comfort during John’s final days. Your care made a profound difference not only to John but to all of us, and we will never forget the dignity and peace you helped bring to this difficult time. We also wish to thank our dear friends and extended family for the outpouring of love, support and kindness during this difficult time. 

Celebration of Life will be held at the De La Salle Chapel, 1940 Metro Road, Jackson's Point, on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. In memory of John, donations to the Southlake Hospital Palliative Care Program would be appreciated by the family.
