John Scott Roy

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love at Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket, on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the age of 83 years. Dearly loved father of Kevin Roy (Carrie) of Haliburton, and Susan (Henry Numan) of Woodville. Precious grandfather of Carolyn (AJ), Ashely (Alex), Megan (Jason), Emily and Harrison. Cherished great grandfather of Noah, Jace, Rayne, Pheonix, Iris, Jaylyn, and Aubrey. John will be dearly missed by his cousins, Phyllis McCurdy, Paul McCurdy (Amy), and his special companion Francis Lynn. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Margaret Bahen Hospice for the compassionate care given to our dad. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
