Peacefully passed away in Elliot Lake Ontario on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her loving husband Don Defoe. Loving mother of Dan (Sheila) and Terry (Heather). Cherished granny of Jamie, Jennifer, Terry, Chris, Sherri, Shawn and Dustin. Great-granny of 25 and great-great granny of 1. Dear sister of Basil McMeeken (Shirley). Predeceased by sisters June, Barb, Audrey and brother Donald. Kay will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, on Friday August 8, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 noon. Interment at Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton at 3:00 p.m.
