Marissa Gurica

Passed away at Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the age of 38 years. Cherished partner of James Papageorge. Loving mother of Beau. Dear daughter of Melinda Gurica and Keith Mitchell. Treasured sister of Mathew (Oceana) and Mitchell. She will be forever missed by her family, friends and loved ones. A special thank you to the staff at Toronto Western Hospital’s Critical Care Unit, and friends, Mark and Robert; your care and compassion were a great comfort during this difficult time.

Visitation will take place at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Keswick Cemetery, 565 Varney Road, Keswick.
