Marx passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 27th at the age of 86 years. Married to the love of his life Birgit for 63 years and loving father of Anette (Cameron) and Michael. Beloved Morfar “grandfather” to Bryan (Jodi), Alaina (Heiko) and Caitlyn (Jorge). Farfar “grandfather” to Mason and Michela. Special Morfar to his great grandson Isaiah. He will be greatly missed by his sister Sus (Allan) and his family in Denmark. Marx was a wonderful man and will be forever missed by all his family and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at The Crow’s Nest, 115 Prospect St., Newmarket, on July 22nd from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Interment at the Danish Cemetery, Mindepark, Sunset Villa, Ontario on Aug. 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. In memory of Marx, donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society of York Region would be appreciated.
