Peter James Lonergan

Passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health Centre, Richmond Hill on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his wife Mary Lonergan (1986). He will be fondly remembered by his spouse Gladys Beaul. Loving father of Debbie Ross (Mike Parker), Dan Lonergan (Laurie Madigan), Ken Lonergan (Kathy), Cindy Vandergroef (Kelly Ward), Patti Lonergan and predeceased by Tim Lonergan (surviving wife Viv). Cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear brother of Paul Lonergan, Mike Lonergan and predeceased by Marie Sanderson, Grace Clewlow, and Dorothy Ann Kloepfer. The family would like to thank the staff at Cedarvale Lodge for the support and compassionate care given to Peter during his time there. Visitation will be held at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 1-2 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. In memory of Peter, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
