Thomas William Leggett

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in his 78th year after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was the beloved husband of Margaret Leggett. Loving and devoted father of Jeff (Teresa), Jeremy (Tracy), Katherine (Barry), Steven (Naomi), and Michael (Shari). Cherished grandfather of Josh, Justin, Ashleigh (Sean), Ryan, Christopher (Darci), and Alissondra (Bailey), and proud great-grandfather of Christian and Kairi. Tom will be fondly remembered by his sister Mary (Terry) and, and by his nieces and nephews Richard, Priscilla, Arianna, Brooklyn and Caleb, Brett (Laura). He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas “Bud” and Muriel Leggett. Dear nephew of Vera Dart. Remembered by his extended family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, Tom had a lifelong love of hunting and fishing and enjoyed curling during the winter months.

A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #238, 23 Veterans Way, Fenelon Falls, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Federation of Anglers and Hunters would be appreciated by the family, or charity of your choice.
