Torben Holm Laursen

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle, at Margaret Bahen Hospice on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the age of 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth Laursen of Keswick. Much loved father of Douglas Laursen (Gillian) of Newmarket, Michael Laursen, Kim Laursen and Crystal (Steven Kraft) all of Keswick. Cherished Bubba of Nicole (Ian), Mackenzie (Mike), Connor (Courtney), Megan, Mitchell (Alex), Jeremy, David and Tyler (Cassandra). Dear brother of Finn Laursen (Sue) of Port au Baril and Ilse (Harold Shea) of Calgary. Torben will be sadly missed by his extended family across Canada and in Denmark as well as his many friends and neighbours. The family will receive friends at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment at Keswick Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks are sent to Dr. Mulhern, Dr. Boutelle and all the staff and volunteers at both Margaret Bahen Hospice and the Stronach Cancer Centre.
