Marie Spence

Passed away peacefully surrounded by love at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the age of 88. 

Predeceased by her husband Donald Spence. Dearly loved mom of Jeannie (the late Rick), Murray (the late Kim), Ruth (Ron), Grant (Maribel), Debbie, the late Jim (surviving wife Isabel). Adored grandmother of Donald (Megan), Dusten (Kelly), Cheyenne, Stacey (Michael), Amanda (Colin), Brian (Kristine), Grant Jr., Melissa, Stephanie (Adam), Tim Jr., Joven, Tony and predecessed by Jason and Drew. Treasured great grandmother of Lydia, Eliza, Lucy, Savannah, Tessa, Peyton, Kaiden, Jacob, Olivia, Ryder, and Keira-Lea. Predeceased by her siblings, Maurice (Barb), Doug (Marie), Norm (Ruth), Evelyn (Morris), Noreen (Gord), Bernice (Murray), and Hazel. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and by her extended family in the Philippines. 

Special thanks to the staff at Lakeview Manor for the compassionate care given to our mom during her stay. 

Visitation will take place at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Queensville Cemetery at 1:15 p.m.
